quarterly, 1 and 4, quarterly, i and iv azure three fleur de lys or, ii and iii gules three lions passant regardant or, 2 or a lion rampant gules within a double tressure flory counter flory gules, 3 azure a harp or stringed argent.

Ogilby's 100 plates were clearly engraved by more than one hand. This shows clearly in comparing the coat of arms from plate 25, above, with that from plate 53, below.



Not only is the engraving pretty weak, the lettering is back to front, a beginner engraver's mistake?
