This diagram indicates Daniel Paterson's strip maps as thicker lines; the thinner lines represent routes which are described in itineries.
The routes shown give a wide coverage of roads in Hampshire. Paterson claims to have procured the most authentic Surveys, and his work seems much more comprehensive than previous road books.
