Map, engraving, Plan of the Ladies Walk, Andover, shewing trees planted to commemorate the marriage of the Edward, Prince of Wales to Princess Alexandra, 10 March 1863, scale about 30 inches to 1 mile, prepared by Frederick Ellen, mayor, printed by Standige and Co, Old Jewry, London, 1863.
The map shows the walk bordered by 120 trees, oak, elm, beech, sycamore, poplar, lime, chestnut, and yew, each with the name of its lady subscriber, in two parts - east portion from Iron Bridge, on Micheldever Road, to the Whitchurch Road - west portion from the Chalk Pit on Old Winchester Road, to the Iron Bridge.
Ladies Walk (2000) runs from near the Old Winton Road, about SU370445, across the Iron Bridge on the Micheldever Road, SU375452, to near the roundabout where the A3093 meets the B3400, to Whitchurch, on the ring road, SU381457.
